A diabetic patient needs to be careful about fruit, but one can eat certain fruits that are low in sugar.

Is it safe to have fruit if you have diabetic?

According to researchers study, at least 4-5 servings of fruits recomended to be consumed daily by everyone. If you have diabetes you have to be attentive about the amount of sugar and carbohydrates you eat, which cause to raise blood insulin levels. Some fruits are higher in carbohydrates or sugar than the others. They can consume fruits which possess less than 50 percent of glucose content. Apple, grapefruit, orange, blackberries, blueberries, gooseberries, cherries, peas, and water melon are good for them and should consume in moderation. But they should avoid fruits that are high in sugar like mango, papaya, pine apple, dried figs, and raisins
